The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is a national
college entrance examination. SAT scores may be submitted for use
in placement by students entering Florida Community College's college
credit programs. For the purpose of placement, scores must be less
than two years old and 440 or higher. SAT scores of 500 or more
of any age may be used to exempt the CLAST.
Note that Florida Community College offers an SAT coaching program
which is available by appointment at Kent. The fee for the coaching
program is $35.
How do I get my SAT scores evaluated
by Florida Community College?
You may have requested that your SAT scores be submitted to Florida
Community College when you took the assessment at your high school
or other site. These scores are sent by SAT to Florida Community
College approximately one week after you enroll in the college.
Call your preferred campus to determine if your scores have been
received.
You may have an original copy of your SAT score report in your personal
records. You may bring your scores to any campus assessment and
certification center for evaluation.
Finally, you may request that your scores be sent to Florida Community
College from SAT by contacting SAT at 866.756.7346.
