Academy Mission

The North Campus Criminal Justice Department's mission spans the traditional academic programs that students follow to obtain an Associate Degree and the vocational certificate programs tin the Criminal Justice Field.

The departments vocational certificate programs are conducted at the Northeast Florida Criminal Justice Training and Education Center (NEFCJTEC) commonly referred to as the Police Academy. The NEFCJTEC 904.713.4900, The NEFCJTEC is state certified police and corrections training academy supporting Region 5 which is operated jointly by FCCJ, North Campus, Criminal Justice Department and the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office (JSO). The academy is certified by Florida's Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission (CJSTC) and is authorized to provide instruction of Basic Recruit Training Courses for law enforcement and correctional officers, and Advanced and Specialized Training Courses funded by the Criminal Justice Standard Training Commission.
