CJD 0254 Medical First Responder
Prerequisites: CJD 0704, CJD 0705, CJD 0730, CJD 0731, CJD 0732, CJD 0734, CJD 0760, CJD 0761, CJD 0762, CJD 0763, 19 years of age, valid drivers license, American Citizen, TABE (entrance exam FCCJ), medical examination, polygraph, drug screening, background investigation, physical performance test, oral interview, sponsored by a Law Enforcement Agency or FCCJ. This course will cover first responder techniques needed in emergency medical situations. In lecture format the major types of communicable diseases among adults, signs and symptoms of each disease, and the methods of transmission are also taught.
