Coach’s Evaluation

Sara was an outside hitter for us as a freshman due to her great athletic ability and her jumping abilities. She played left side, right side and middle. She has a great serve and is a very good back row player. This season Sara is one of our starting middle blockers. She is quick, agile, strong and jumps over most blocks when attacking. She plays all the way around and is already ahead of her stats for last year in digs and blocks.

Sara is one of the captains of our team this year and she has done a very good job of establishing a team culture and keeping communication channels open. Conflicts are handled quickly yet carefully. Sara has a very even personality on and off the court offering a base of stability to our team leadership. She is very competitive, yet cares deeply about her team and teammates. Sara is a very respectful and coachable athlete and will be an asset to the next program for whom she chooses to play.
