Web Page Hosting

Get Web, E-mail and More from Florida Community College

When you activated your account, you received a user ID and password and were allocated 10 megabytes (MB) of Web publishing space on the students.fccj.edu server (e.g. http://students.fccj.edu/~Your UserID). You were also allocated 20 MB of e-mail space with a 10 MB attachment size limit.

You may create a Web page and publish it to your server space. You can use any standard FTP client software to upload your files to your account on the student server. Below is the specific information you will need, including detailed instructions for publishing your Web pages with the free educational version of SmartFTP (download page).

The complete URL for the server is ftp://students.fccj.edu. The directory your files should be stored in is /home/YourUserID/public_html. All files, text and graphics, placed in this directory will be viewable to the public. Your Web page address is: http://students.fccj.edu/~YourUserID/.
