Paraoptometric Assistant Training Program

This 176-hour course prepares the student for a career as an optometric assistant and for American Optometric Association Paraoptometric Certification, which is a nationally recognized certification. Topics include: office management, patient communication, optics, ocular anatomy, testing procedures, contact lens care, spectacle measurements and completing the AOA National Certification exam.

When:	July 28, 2008–Dec. 10, 2008 Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30–9:30 p.m. One Saturday each month, 8 a.m.–3 p.m.
