This 176-hour course prepares the student for a career as an optometric assistant and for American Optometric Association Paraoptometric Certification, which is a nationally recognized certification. Topics include: office management, patient communication, optics, ocular anatomy, testing procedures, contact lens care, spectacle measurements and completing the AOA National Certification exam.
