FACC Scholarship
Each year, the FCCJ Chapter of FACC awards the FACC Vivian Dellinger Memorial Endowed Scholarship for $1,000 to a deserving FCCJ student. This year’s recipient is Stephanie Foshee, who hopes to be accepted into the nursing program at North Campus in the fall. Stephanie has worked hard to maintain a 3.08 GPA, while working part time to support herself and put herself through college. Through hard work, dedication and perseverance, she has been able to overcome various obstacles in her life. She completed her General Educational Development (GED) at FCCJ, survived a difficult divorce and is now focused on fulfilling her dream of becoming a nurse. Stephanie says she has always been fascinated by the sciences, especially biology, and plans to continue her education after she completes her degree at FCCJ.
Thanks to our scholarship committee chair, Chris Pemberton, committee members Colleen Wagner and Marry Dartiguenave, and advisor Dr. Susan Chappell for reviewing over 20 applications to select this deserving recipient. Our chapter is honored to help Stephanie Foshee achieve her dreams!
