Florida Community College features 50+ programs at Feb. 7 open house

Florida Community College at Jacksonville is hosting a free College-wide Open House at its Advanced Technology Center (ATC) on Feb. 7 from 5:30-8 p.m. The Open House will highlight more than 50 of its programs with department representatives to answer questions about program requirements for associate in arts degrees, university transfer, various career opportunities and NEW programs such as Air Traffic Control and Commercial Truck Driving.

Representatives will also be on hand to provide information about enrollment and financial aid (including scholarships). Program information will be available throughout the evening. In addition, scheduled Information Sessions will provide details on these programs and topics:

6 p.m.: A.A. or A.S. degrees—what’s the difference?; Aviation; Commercial Truck Driving; Cisco Networking, Data Security and Computer Integrated Manufacturing; Digital Media/Graphic Design, Multimedia and Video Production; Financial Aid; Scholarships; Fire Science (NEW bachelor degree program!).

6:45 p.m.: Catering, Culinary Arts and Hospitality; Criminal Justice; Dual Enrollment (college credit for high school juniors and seniors); Financial Aid; Nursing and Health Care; Where to Begin—The Admissions Process.

7:30 p.m.: A.A. or A.S. degrees—what’s the difference?; Financial Aid.
