The program is part of the Southern Arts Federation-Southern Circuit Film Festival. Random Lunacy’s filmmakers are Emmy-award winner, Victor Zimet, and Stephanie Silber, whose credits include documentaries for the History Channel. Together, they created Random Lunacy, which chronicles 21 years of the life and adventures of Poppa Neutrino and his family from the streets of New York to a circus in Mexico, from the Arizona desert to an Atlantic Ocean crossing on a raft made of discarded materials. The Neutrino family, led by Poppa Neutrino, ekes out a living on the streets. Poppa Neutrino is the captain of his life and the patriarch of this family of talented but impoverished vagabonds. The family is incredibly resourceful, determined, inventive, and independent. Their story will resonate with anyone who dares to dream of a life lived free. Down and out never looked so rich. Following the film, there will be an opportunity to meet the filmmakers, Victor Zimet and Stephanie Silber.
