Professor Donna Martin to teach Pre-Calculus Algebra at the Florida State College at Jacksonville Betty P. Cook Nassau Center

Professor Donna Martin will be teaching a hybrid Pre-Calculus Algebra, MAC1140, beginning September 29. This class will meet at the Nassau Center on Tuesdays from 1–3:40 p.m. The remainder of the class will be online. Students wishing to register for this class must have completed MAC1102 or MAC1105 with a grade of ‘C’ or better or have a satisfactory score on the placement test.

Professor Martin received the Outstanding Faculty Award for Florida State College at Jacksonville for 2007-2008, the Nassau County Economic Development Board 2008 Customer Service Excellence in Education Award, and the Florida Association of Community Colleges Instructional Effectiveness Exemplary Practice Award for The Tutoring Solutions Learning Community pilot program in 2006. Professor Martin also recently completed Hybrid/Blended Course Delivery Certification for Florida State College at Jacksonville.
