FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FCCJ Foundation Third Annual Virtual Cruise set for Venice, Italy March 7 The Florida Community College Foundation will host the Third Annual Virtual Cruise celebration March 7, at 7 p.m., at the College’s Deerwood Center. Guests will set sail toward Terminal Venezia Passeggeri in the intriguing city of Venice, Italy for a night of festive dining, dancing and entertainment. The theme is “Chart a Course to a Brighter Future.” Join co-chairs Betsy Lovett and Gilchrist Berg and friends for a bon-voyage reception with delicious food and beverage, desserts provided by culinary students, a Venetian Marketplace with silent auction, “Carnival Casino,” music, dance and a raffle for prizes. Dress is black-tie optional or casual cruise-wear, as desired. Cruise tickets begin at $100 per person. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Foundation’s general scholarship fund.
