Florida Community College Kent Campus presents “Antigone” Dec. 10-11
Contemporary take on an old, old, old story

Florida Community College’s Kent Campus Acting Class is presenting Sophocles’ tragedy “Antigone” (440 B.C.) with at least one contemporary twist: the traditional Greek chorus becomes a collection of network television news reporters, or chorus-spondents. Two performance dates will be offered, Dec. 10-11, at 8 p.m. at the Kent Campus Auditorium (Bldg. F, Room 128).

Admission is by suggested donation of $5.

The modern adaptation is presented by student actors under the direction of Professor Jeff Hess. Hess is coach of the College’s nationally recognized Debate and Forensics Team.

Kent Campus is located at 3939 Roosevelt Blvd. For more information, contact Professor Jeff Hess at 904.381.3620 or e-mail jhess@fccj.edu.
