
Florida Community College Continuing
Education will offer its popular this
spring on Tuesdays, January 27 – March 2, from 9 a.m. to noon
at the FCCJ Deerwood Center, 9911 Old Baymeadows Rd.
Taught by professional writer Deborrah
Hoag, the series is comprised of six modules covering such
topics as Grammar and Usage, Business Writing Style, Proofreading,
Letters, Memos, Reports and Proposals. This course
will help both executives and entry-level professionals write
in a more concise and clear manner.
Tuition for the full six-part series
is $225. Individual
modules cost $45. Students who enroll in the full series
receive a discount equivalent to one free module. An
FCCJ certificate will be awarded to students upon completion
of the series.
Registration is currently underway. Students
may register online at www.fccj.edu,
at any FCCJ Enrollment Service Office or by telephone. First-time
students must complete an application and pay a one-time $15
membership fee.
