Explore cosmetology careers at Florida Community College October 14
Hands-on training Nail Technology, Facials Specialist and Cosmetology

Florida Community College is offering a free information session for those wishing to explore the possibilities of a career in cosmetology, nail technology or facials specialist on October 14 at 6:30 p.m. The session will take place at the North Campus Cosmetology studio in Building-D.

According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook published by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment outlook for cosmetologists, nail technicians and facials specialists is considered "favorable" because of the growing demand for these services. Within the North Campus programs, licensed, certified instructors offer hands-on training in a professional atmosphere. Day and evening classes are available and students may attend full-or part-time. Completion of these certificate programs prepares students for state licensing exams.
