Education has expanded its daytime class offerings at the
FCCJ Deerwood Center which is located at 9911 Old Baymeadows
Rd.

meet on Wednesdays, February 4 – 24 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Students
will learn to use the mouse, navigate the keyboard, set up
files and folders, create and save documents and send email.
Tuition is $55.

teach students how to use common Spanish phrases and commands. Class
meets on Wednesdays, January 28 – March 3, 10 a.m. to noon. Tuition

FCCJ’s popular will
feature two classes starting in January. In , students will read Paris 1919: Six Months
that Changed the World by Margaret MacMillan. This
book examines the post WWI era when people from around the
world gathered in Paris to create new countries and shape the
peace by way of the League of Nations. The class meets
on Tuesdays, Jan. 20 – March 9 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. will focus on the Foreign Policy Association
publication Great Decisions of 2004 which explores
WMDs, Media and Democracy, the Middle East and more. Class
meets on Thursdays, Jan. 29 – March 4, from 1:30 to 3:30
p.m. Tuition for each class is $25.

on Tuesdays, Jan. 20 – March 9 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This class
is designed to improve strength, flexibility and balance. Cost
is $45.

an overview of issues related to long term care and insurance. The
one-day class is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 29 from 10 a.m.
to noon or Thursday, March 11, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $15.
