Florida Community College newest campus opening ceremony Sept. 29

Cecil Education Center brings variety of classes to Westside, Clay County residents

What: Ribbon cutting ceremony
When: Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 10:30 a.m.
Where: Florida Community College Cecil Education Center
13367 Normandy Blvd. (at intersection of Normandy Blvd. and 103rd St.)
Details: Florida Community College’s newest site and the future home of a planned Westside campus opens for classes Sept. 27. Easy access to a variety of general college credit and business courses is now available for those who live and work on Jacksonville’s Westside and in Clay County communities.

To celebrate the Center’s opening and acknowledge the relevance of the College’s Westside venture, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 29 at the Center’s site. Invited guests and speakers include representatives from state and local government, economic development and commerce agencies.
