
The Board of Governors
of the Florida Community College at Jacksonville Foundation recently
elected officers and five new members to serve on the Foundation
Board.
The newly elected officers are Emily
Smith, president; Teala Milton, first vice president; “Bucky” Clarkson, second vice president; Donald D. Zell, treasurer;
Leslie Skipper, secretary.
New members include the following:
Betty P. Cook, Nassau County resident
and long-time supporter of the College. Cook served on the
College’s District
Board of Trustees a total of 14 years. The College’s
Betty P. Cook Nassau Center bears her name.
Edward J. Grenadier, CPA, a partner in LBA Certified Public
Accountants. Grenadier has a long history of civic involvement
with a broad spectrum of organizations, including Congregation
Ahavath Chesed, the Rotary Club, YMCA Camp Immokalee, Youth
Soccer and Baptist Health Foundation.
James F. Marlier Jr., president of GT Leasing, an alumnus
of Florida Junior College and former educator. Marlier has
been a TPC volunteer since 1967, and is active in the Rotary
Club and other civic organizations.
Michael Munz, vice president and director
of strategic communications at the Dalton Agency. Munz’s
15-year career in public relations, media relations and political
consulting includes a vast variety of knowledge and experience
in civic, industry and government organizations. The City
of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Jaguars are among his
local and national clients.
Marsha Myers, senior vice president and general manager, Lee
Hecht Harrison, an international consulting firm. A graduate
of Leadership Jacksonville, Myers is also affiliated with Big
Brothers/Big Sisters, the United Way, and the Human Rights
Commission, along with other community and non-profit organizations.
