Florida Community College commencement and graduation slated for May 8
5,000+ college degrees, certificates, GED and adult high school diplomas earned in 2003-2004

Florida Community College will hold both its 2003-2004 College Credit Commencement and the Adult High School/GED Graduation exercises on May 8 at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

The Commencement Exercise, during which students earning degrees and technical certificates are recognized, begins at 11 a.m. The Graduation Exercise, which recognizes students earning their Adult High School and GED diplomas, begins at 3 p.m.

Florida Education Commissioner Jim Horne will present addresses at both events. The national Anthem will be performed by the Florida Community College Women’s Chamber Choir under the direction of Wayne Bailey and the Symphonic Band under the direction of Paul Weikle, Jr.
