USAF Band conductor to join Florida Community College Symphonic Band for spring concert

of the United States Air Force Band

Details:

Under the direction of Professor Paul Weikle, the Florida Community College Symphonic Band has gained national acclaim at numerous music education conferences. They have also had an annual opportunity to play with noted composer/conductors. For their Spring Concert they will be joined by Col. Arnald D. Gabriel (ret.), former conductor of the United States Air Force Band and the McLean Orchestra. Col. Gabriel was director of the USAF Band program for more than three decades, with a military career as distinguished as his musical achievements. The evening’s offerings range from music from the film “Saving Private Ryan” to Russian Christmas Music to a finale of the stirring “America, the Beautiful.”
