FCCJ Supervisory Leadership Series boosts skills of front-line supervisors

Starting in May, Florida Community College Continuing Education will offer comprehensive training to help managers and supervisors improve their leadership skills. The Supervisory Leadership Series will meet on Wednesdays, May 19 – July 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. at FCCJ Deerwood Center, 9911 Old Baymeadows Rd.

The series will focus on topics such as: Leadership and Management; Workplace Motivation; Effective Delegation; Managing Change; Time Management and Goal Setting; Effective Communication; Job Performance; and How to Deal with Workplace Problems.

Students who enroll in the full series receive a discount equivalent to one free module. Tuition for the series is $275. Individual modules cost $39. An FCCJ certificate will be awarded upon completion of the series.
