Fast-track online Industrial Management Technology A.S. degree to be available in January through Florida Community College

Beginning in January, Florida Community College will offer those with military or work experience the chance to earn an accelerated Industrial Management Technology associate in science degree online in as little as 18 months. Some may achieve the degree in even less time, by gaining credits for training and certifications earned through work, the military or prior experience.

Enrolled students can complete the degree while employed or in the military, online, from anywhere in the world with Internet access. General education courses are required, along with courses in Management, Business, Business Law and Computers. Most students take two online courses in each eight-week session. Subsequent registration is automatic for the students and they have a personal adviser to assist them through degree completion.

The advantages of earning the degree include career enhancement and opportunity. The degree holder will also be able to transfer credits and pursue a bachelor's degree at one of many accredited universities and complete the degree through distance learning. Tuition for the accelerated A.S. degree program is about $3,800 for Florida residents.
