Brief Biography of Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist

The Honorable Charlie Crist was elected Florida’s first Republican Attorney General in 2002. He attended Wake Forest University, where he played quarterback, and received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, where he served as student body vice president. Crist received his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. Before taking office as Attorney General, Crist practiced private law, served in the state Senate, and sat on the Florida Board of Regents.
