FCCJ Foreign Language courses aid travelers and professionals
Just in time for summer travel, vacationers as well as workplace professionals can learn to speak Spanish, Italian and French through language courses offered at Florida Community College.
introduces
students to grammar, pronunciation and useful Italian expressions
for ordering from a menu, shopping and getting around Italy.
The class meets on Thursdays, May 19–July 7, from 6:30 to 8:30
p.m. at FCCJ South Campus, 11901 Beach Blvd. Cost for the class
is $45.
teaches
handy phrases, commands and expressions that are useful when
traveling, eating in a restaurant and shopping. This introductory
level class meets daytime on Wednesdays, May 18–June 22, 10
a.m. to noon at FCCJ Deerwood Center, located at 9911 Old Baymeadows
Rd. Cost for the class is $55.
and are courses delivered via the
Internet. Students learn language basics through the
use of simple phonetic spellings and online audio clips. Cultural
tips are provided during each of the twelve lessons. Access
to the online classroom is available 24 hours a day for six
weeks. Classes begin May 18. Tuition for either
course is $89.
