Florida Community College ATC offers open house April 28; career expo June 3
Short-term training and associate degree programs lead to high-wage careers

The Advanced Technology Center at Florida Community College’s Downtown Campus has two upcoming opportunities to explore career choices in the months of April and June.

The first offering is an Open House on April 28 at the Advanced Technology Center, 401 W. State St. The Open House is for prospective students looking for technical training and education. Hands-on technical education offering both certificates and degrees leads to careers that pay well and are in high demand. Also available will be information on financial aid, scholarships and tips for adults re-entering school.

Programs represented include Automotive and Diesel Technology; Biomedical Technology; Computer Technology; Construction and Welding; Engineering and Architecture; Electrical and Instrumentation Technology and Manufacturing; Office Management; and Occupational Safety and Health.

The ATC is also offering a Career Options Expo on June 3, from 5:30–8:30 p.m. This event will offer an even broader spectrum of programs and career exploration opportunities available to prospective students.
