FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Florida Community College Good Neighbor Awards Presented to Nassau County Organizations The Center for Lifelong Learning in Nassau County (formerly known as the Nassau Institute for Community Education), and the Amelia Island Book Festival received Good Neighbor Awards from the North Campus/Betty P. Cook Nassau Center at the North Campus fall convocation. The Center for Lifelong Learning has been affiliated with FCCJ since 2000 and has provided lifelong learning classes and programs to over 1,000 residents. The Book Festival has presented author programs at the Nassau Center and the North Campus since the inception of the Festival in 2001. Dr. Barbara Darby, North Campus President, presented the awards to Susan Silverio, founding member of the Center for Lifelong Learning, and Terri Ridgell, Festival Director for the Book Festival.  |
