FCCJ Nassau Center Fifth Annual “Holler for a Dollar” Haunted House, Haunted Hayride, Haunted Forest Oct. 20, 26, 27
Proceeds to benefit United Way, United Communities, Take Stock in Children

The Florida Community College Nassau Outdoor Education Center, 76346 William Burgess Boulevard in Yulee, will host its Fifth Annual “Holler for a Dollar” fright-fest Oct. 20, 26 and 27 from 7-11 p.m. Events offered include a Haunted House, Haunted Hayride and Haunted Forest, inhabited by horrible creatures and instruments of fear (all pretend, of course). Admission is $2 per event or $5 for all three. Refreshments will be available. All proceeds from the admissions and refreshment sales will be donated to the United Way, United Communities and Take Stock in Children. The events are appropriate for ages 9 and older.

According to Carolyn Woods, instructional officer at the Nassau Outdoor Center, last year’s event raised more than $6,000 for charity, and they are hoping to increase that amount this year. The event is staffed by FCCJ student and employee volunteers, Take Stock in Children Mentors and other community volunteers.

For additional information or directions please call the Nassau Outdoor Education Center at 904.548.4490.
