Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Choir to perform free concert at FCCJ North Campus June 11

What: Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Choir
South Africa’s first multicultural university choir, 40 members

When: June 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Florida Community College North Campus

Cost: Free and open to the public

Details: This Florida tour of the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Choir is sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield and The Jacksonville Sister Cities Association. Part of a national tour, the choir will also perform in Chicago and New York City before heading to Florida to perform in Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Orlando. The choir will appear seven times in Northeast Florida with concerts at the University of North Florida, the Jacksonville Main Library, St. Johns Episcopal Cathedral, Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, City Hall Atrium, FCCJ North Campus and St. Augustine City Plaza.
