Mobile CSI Lab to visit FCCJ CSI Summer Camp June 12 at 9:30 a.m.
Popular youth-sleuth camp teaches science and technology used in crime scene investigations

What: “Crime Scene Investigation” summer camp for ages 12-15.
Students will perform their own “crime scene” investigations with aid from JSO Mobile CSI Lab.
When: Tuesday, June 12 at 9:30 a.m.
Where: Florida Community College Advanced Technology Center
401 W. State Street (between Pearl and Broad streets)

Details: Using the latest Data Security and Bio-Technology information and equipment, along with other tools of forensic science, campers will become Youth Crime Scene Investigators. This highly interactive and fun camp will help students to:

  • Develop their ability to use logic and apply strategies to problem solving
  • Develop analytical and reasoning skills
  • Form logical explanations about cause-and-effect relationships in investigations
  • Develop a new appreciation for science and technology
