David Montello

David grew up in Jacksonville and attended Mandarin High School. He’s currently enrolled in the Collision Repair and Refinishing program at the Downtown Campus and plans to graduate in 2007. David chose this program because he enjoys working with his hands and has a great love for cars.

“The thing I like most about FCCJ is the friendly and helpful staff,” says David. “The support staff in the automotive department was extremely helpful with the registration process.” It was very important to him to know that the program would provide real-world skills, and they were able to assure him of that.

David is currently seeking work in the collision repair industry. “I can’t wait to paint a car,” he says. His ultimate goal is to start a business so he can be his own boss and “to be successful in life.”
