Technical Certificate

Construction Electricity Assistant (6186)

The rapidly growing construction industry in Florida has intensified the need for experts in the area of residential electricity. Upon completion of this technical certificate program, you will have a basic knowledge of electrical repair or service. This certificate will also complement the technical certificate for construction electricity technician. For more information call 904.633.8295.

Expected Job Growth
The construction trades (plumber, carpenter and electrician) are on Florida’s Targeted Occupations List as high growth occupations. More than 45,000 new construction workers will be required to meet the demand for new and renovated construction in Florida over the next five years.

Articulations
All courses are directly applicable to the Construction Electricity Management A.A.S. degree.

Cost
Estimated tuition for Florida residents is $780 (as of 07/05). Contact the program manager for additional costs (textbooks, fees, materials).
