Associate in Applied Science

Construction Electricity Management (A185)

Connect to an exciting career in construction electricity management. The rapidly growing construction industry in Florida has intensified the need for experts in the area of residential electricity. Trained electricians who know the National Electrical Code (NEC) will be in increasing demand through this decade. This program combines essential training in electricity and practical experience to prepare you for management positions.

Two technical certificates are included as options within this degree program, Construction Electricity Technician and Construction Electricity Assistant. You may choose to earn the technical certificates while completing the requirements for the degree. For more information call 904.633.8295.

Expected Job Growth
The construction trades (plumber, carpenter and electrician) are on Florida’s Targeted Occupations List as high growth occupations. More than 45,000 new construction workers will be required to meet the demand for new and renovated construction in Florida over the next five years.

Articulations
All courses are directly applicable to the electricity specialty track in Building Construction Technology A.S. degree.
