Accelerated Elementary
Education Degree
This fast-track program
is designed for students who wish to ultimately earn a bachelors
degree in elementary education. Students who successfully complete
this intense program of study will earn an university transfer
associates degree in four semesters, with an option to take classes during the day or evening.
The A.A. degree requirements
are fulfilled during days, evenings and weekends through the use
of hybrid online instruction, learning communites
and traditional instruction in the classroom. Offering courses
in eight, twelve and sixteen-week session formats, the accelerated
elementary education program allows students to complete
their associate in arts degree 50 percent faster than traditional
programs.
You may already have college credits toward
your degree through previous classroom experience, military experience,
non-college training and certification, or credit by assessment
through testing.
See the new brochure, which includes specific dates and times of classes. Learn more about this program at the Open
Campus Accelerated Degree page.
Upon successful completion, graduates will be able to transfer
to any Florida four-year university to complete the requirements
to earn a bachelors degree in elementary education. See
more information
about articulation.
Estimated tuition is $4,117 (for Florida residents, as of 7/06).
