A Great Education Doesn’t Have to Mean Big Money

Florida Community College offers the same classes as state and local universities for about 40 percent less. We offer benefits the big U’s can’t — smaller class sizes, professors (not grad students) teaching courses, and a better focus (ours is on teaching, not research). Don’t forget to compare the “little” things like the cost of a parking sticker (ours comes included with your tuition).

It all adds up. When you’re done, you’ll be just as smart as a big U student except you’ll save thousands of dollars, which actually makes you smarter.

Application Fee

College Credit Courses Tuition and Fees

The following fees are effective Spring Term 2007-08:

Tuition of non-residents:

Tuition for Georgia residents:

Most classes are 3-4 credits, so students who are residents of Florida can expect to pay about $210-$280 per class. Twelve credits, which is considered a “full-time” load for a semester, cost $840 for Florida resident students. Figure in your book costs at about $35 per credit hour, and you are looking at a total bill of about $1,260 for a full-time semester. Certain classes that require labs may have additional fees for lab supplies. Additional fees are published in the class schedule.

Fees for workforce education certificate programs and continuing education courses vary depending on classes and class lengths.
