How to use the Choices Planner

Choices Planner is a valuable career planning resource. You may access this system using the following instructions:

  1. Go to http://www.facts.org
  2. Under the “Choose A Link” menu, select Career Planning and then Florida Choices Planner.
  3. If this is the first time you are accessing the system, you’ll need to create a portfolio so your results will be saved for later review. To do this, select “Create a Portfolio” and provide all the required information. In the future, you will simply enter your Portfolio Name and Password (keep a record of these for later reference).
  4. Once you have signed in, select the Choices Planner and then click the WORK tab at the top of the page.
  5. Use the instructions provided within Career Goals as a guide to using the system.

NOTE: Because of occasional system changes, these instructions may need to change. If you find such system changes before we do, please report this to Gary Harr so the instructions may be updated.
