 Courses College Credit Courses AER 1290 Automatic Transmissions and Transaxles: Module I, Automatic Transmission Basics — 1 Credit Hour This course is designed with knowledge-based, performance-based and intern-based skills identified as standards for the automotive industry. Topics will include theory, operation and in-car servicing of automatic transmissions. Performance skills include the servicing and adjustments required on todays automobile. The knowledge skills represent theory of the topics and support the mastery of the performance-based skills for this topic. Twenty-two and one-half contact hours: fifteen lecture hours; seven and one-half laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
