CET 2636 Home Integration — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: CET 1742 or equivalent experience. This course teaches students how to interconnect the entertainment, lighting, telephone, security, hvac, and other specialty systems found within the home to form an integrated system managed by a central computer. Topics covered include standards and codes, best practices, low voltage electrical systems, cable installation and termination, design, and business procedures. Four contact hours: three lecture hours; one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
