COP 2838 Advanced Visual Basic.NET Programming — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: COP 2837. This is a course on advanced Visual Basic.NET programming. Students will be introduced to object-oriented programming using the .NET Framework and the Common Language Runtime. Exceptions, file handling and operations, database programming fundamentals, and Internet programming are covered in the course. Also included are ASP.NET and Web Forms, graphics, multithreading, abstract data structures, help systems and applications deployment. Four contact hours (lecture/laboratory combination).
