 Courses College Credit Courses DEH 1001C Introduction to Clinical Procedures — 4 Credit Hours Corequisite: DEH 1002C. This course is designed to acquaint students with their role as dental hygienists. It provides the necessary instruction and supervised practice in the dental operatory environment. Topics include infection control, instrument sterilization, care of dental equipment, and basic skills development in procedures for delivering services for the oral exam and prophylaxis. Six contact hours: two lecture hours, four laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
