EDG 2701 Teaching Diverse Populations — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: satisfaction of college prep reading and writing and placement into ENC 1101. This course is designed to study multicultural education. Emphasis is on such dimensions of diversity as culture, ethnicity, race, language, social class, exceptionality, gender, age, and sexual orientation and their implications for educational policy, curriculum and methodology. Field experience is required. Three contact hours. A.A.
