EEC 1001 Introduction to Early Childhood Education — 3 Credit Hours

This course introduces basic principles and practices involved in guiding the young child. The course includes history and objectives of early childhood programs, child care issues, center licensing standards, and classroom activity planning. The course includes Module I of the FL DC&F child care worker training course and is useful for CDA (Child Development Associate) documentation. Three contact hours. A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
