HIM 1300 Health Care Delivery Systems — 2 Credit Hours

This course provides an overview of the health care delivery system at the national, state and local level including the organizations that provide health care, applicable regulations and standards, reimbursement methods used, professionals that provide the services, as well as ethical issues and resources. This course is also an introduction to the Health Information Management profession and its ethics. Two contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
