 Courses College Credit Courses AER 2295 Automatic Transmissions and Transaxles: Module VI, Transmission Overhaul Manufacture Specific: GM — 1 Credit Hour Prerequisite: AER 2294. This course is designed with knowledge-based, performance-based and intern-based skills identified as standards for the automotive industry. Topics will include theory, operation and diagnosis of General Motors specific transmissions. Performance skills include the teardown, inspection and reassembly of GM transmissions following manufacturer specifications. The knowledge skills represent theory of the topics and support the mastery of the performance-based skills for this topic. Twenty-two and one-half contact hours: fifteen lecture hours, seven and one-half laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
