ETG 2530 Testing and Strength of Materials — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: ETG 2502 and ETI 1420. This course is a study of the basic concepts involved in determining the resistance of engineering materials of various loads with emphasis on the applied use of various formulae for a systematic analysis. The laboratory portion of the course involves actual stress testing with stress testing equipment. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
