FSS 1202 Food Production I — 3 Credit Hours

Students will acquire knowledge and skill in the preparation of food. Included are basic principles and techniques of food preparation, management of resources, use of recipes, use and care of equipment and evaluation of food products. The course emphasizes safety and sanitation practices. Eight contact hours: two lecture hours, six laboratory hours. (CBE) A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
