Calendar

Florida Community College offers students a unique trimester academic calendar of three 16-week terms (fall, spring and summer). This trimester system gives students excellent flexibility and multiple options for scheduling classes. Classes are offered in 16, 12, 8 and 4 week sessions.

FALL TERM 2007
Aug. 22	Wednesday	Convocation.
Aug. 27	Monday	Classes begin: Sessions A4, A8, A12, A16.
Sept. 3	Monday	Labor Day Holiday — College closed.
Sept. 4*	Tuesday	Drop deadline for Sessions A4, A8, A12, A16 with refund.
Sept. 5*	Wednesday	Degree awarded reflects on transcript for summer 2007 graduates.
Sept. 13*	Thursday	Final date to withdraw from Session A4 with grade of “W.”
Sept. 23	Sunday	Session A4 ends.
Sept. 24	Monday	Classes begin: Sessions B4, B8, B12.
Oct. 1*	Monday	Drop deadline for Sessions B4, B8, B12 with refund.
Oct. 1*	Monday	Final date to withdraw from Session A8 with grade of “W.”
Oct. 6*	Saturday	CLAST administered.
Oct. 8*	Monday	Spring 2008 priority registration begins for students with 45+ credit hours.
