CJT 2100 Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation — 3 Credit Hours

Criminal investigation covers general investigative principles and techniques used by law enforcement. This fundamental course in the most important phases of criminal investigation deals with the following branches of crime including methods of investigation, note taking, report writing, handling the crime scene, interrogations, admissions and confessions, missing persons, undercover assignments and such specific offenses as arson, narcotics, larceny, burglary, robbery and forgery. Three contact hours. A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
