 Courses College Credit Courses DAA 1570 Jazz I — 3 Credit Hours This class will provide the novice dancer the fundamentals of classic jazz dancing with an emphasis on musical theatre. In addition to learning such basic principles as proper body alignment, balance, and syncopation, an overview of the history of jazz dance will be provided. No dance experience is necessary for successful completion of the class. Three contact hours. A.A.
