 Courses College Credit Courses DAA 2000 Introduction to Dance Styles — 3 Credit Hours This introductory course is intended to train students in the basic techniques of the major genres of dance. The course provides background and history of each dance style balanced with a practical experience in the studio. Students also explore and develop specific exercises for physical alignment, self-awareness, coordination, strength, flexibility, and versatility. Three contact hours. A.A.
