EAP 1540 Writing Level V — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: writing placement test score at Level V or successful completion of EAP 0440. Prerequisite/corequisite: students should be taking or have successfully completed EAP 1560. This course gives students practice in writing unified, coherent paragraphs. Students will learn how to develop and write specific types of paragraphs, such as process, explanation, comparison/contrast, and course/effect. In addition students will practice using correct grammatical structures, punctuation and spelling. Three contact hours. A.A.
