EDF 1005 Introduction to Education — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: Satisfaction of college prep reading and writing, and placement into ENC 1101. This course is a comprehensive and realistic look at the nature of students and how they learn; the role of teachers, the teaching process, and teaching as a career; and schools as social and political institutions in our society. Field experience is required. Three contact hours. (CBE) A.A.
